FAQ
1. How far is the place from Pune?
It is about 90 minutes drive (65 Kms) form Katraj Pune and 150minutes drive from Pune Airport
2. Which mobile networks are available? Will my Vodafone network work at the camp site?
The place is nestled deep inside the backwaters hence there is NO network within a few kilometers of the camp site. BSNL sometimes works and Jio works in patches.
3. Do I need to carry any specific linen, blankets or towels?
No, your tent has fresh, clean and sanitized hotel grade linen, comforters, towels (on demand) and spring mattresses with pillows. Please do carry a light warm jacket or a hoodie as it can get a bit nippy in the evenings. There is always a cold breeze since you are adjacent to the water body and surrounded by thick jungles.
4.Should I carry a power bank for charging my phone and other devices/ gadgets?
Not really required! Your tent has two power sockets, the café has enough spots for charging any device and the Campsite has 100% power backup. The DG set takes about 5 minutes to get started.
5.Can I get into the back waters?
Yes of course! We have a pier/ jetty with ease of ingress and egress via stairs which provide a layer of safety. There is a water buoy just about 20 meters from the jetty also. You are always advised to wear the life jacket while indulging in water sports as there is no life guard.
6.What are the restroom facilities available?
Since this is a camp site, we have common restrooms. They are available at the top level and the Café level. Each set of wash rooms has a gender neutral restroom with a shower, WC and a wash basin and an additional Men’s urinal to ensure the WC remains hygienic and usable for the ladies. The restrooms are cleaned and sanitized every hour from 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm and from 8:00 am to noon.
7.Is the place safe?
The Camp site is part of 30 acres gated community. The gates are closed and locked at 8 pm. The site is very well lit up and all precautions have been taken to avoid encounters with the wriggly kinds. There are 3 fed stray dog pets (Daisy, Flaky and Brownie).
8.How deep is the dam water?
From our Jetty which is the recommended entry point, its 12 feet deep and gets deeper as you move to the centre of the water body. The estimated depth at the centre is 70 feet hence its Mandatory to wear Life jackets while entering the water or boating/ kayaking.
9.Do you have Sheesha?
Yes and it is very demand specific. Please book your extras in advance by calling our tribe at +91-9021679953
10.Do you accept card payments?
We do accept card payments but network issue can be hindrance. UPI payments can be made prior or at the time of booking. You can also make an early deposit with us should you not want to carry cash. However, we strongly recommend that you carry some cash (upto 3k) with you just in case. The nearest ATM is 1 hour away!
